Dear TSB's, . . .

Okay my friends, you know who you are! I just wanted to say thank you for accepting me so readily into your "group". I know I only partially qualify for the title, BUT my pity parties are over, the refreshments have all been eaten (by me, of course) and I am ready to be inducted completely! (Well, I do need another month or so to get rid of the effects of the refreshments, but THEN I can be inducted completely!!!)

What, you may ask is a TSB? Well, if you have to ask, then you are not ready to know! Anyway, I love you guys! Thanks for helping me through the rough patches lately. Keep a smile on your face as you go throughout this next week and remember, only 29 days left (6 of which can be used for a suspension if necessary! ;-) But who is counting? MEEEEEEE!)

I am glad that Abby finally put you on her list of blogging friends because I am lame and lost your blog address and of course don't see you enough to ask for it. I'm gonna bookmark it so I will have it.

Thank you Abby! I know, Alisha, it's like you are in an entire different classroom or something! OR is it that you disagree with the fact that I think the Comeaus are great? Was that the true stumbling block? :-)

Ah, Alicia! I, too, am glad that Abby placed you on her list because I didn't realize the trick with the gr8...I kept wondering why I couldn't find your blog! :) I LOVED the story you wrote about Jordan! He really got the money, huh?! Wow! He's so funny! I LOVE having him in my class!! Enjoy your week off!!

Sara, Jordan only got $10. He was promised the other $10 after spring break. Really though, how much more candy does an 11-year-old boy need?! I LOVE having him in your class, too! Thanks for being patient with all of his goofy quirks. To quote an often misunderstood and little appreciated American hero, Nacho Libre, "You are the BEST!"

it's not that i don't think the comeaus are great, they are. i am just jealous that my families blog doesn't have as cool a name.

Well, I do think the Wades are Gr8, also! Thanks again for your truck ;-( Poor little guy! How's it doing?

Hey, Alisha...I don't know how "Jordan" got credit for that last comment. I want you to know it is ME concerned about your cute little truck. Jordan is still spending his free time planning how to spend the next $10 he gets from "popping the question". ;-)

alisha said...

our truck is still in the same place you left him. andy looked and doesn't know what is wrong. i am sorry that it had to happen when you were driving it because it really wasn't anything you did.

alisha said...

Thanks for asking about the truck by the way, I thought that it was a very empathetic comment coming from a 10 year old, and now I can see why. You're very thoughtful.
Who bet Jordan 20 bucks anyway? another fifth grader?

That would be Chase, in my class. You're right, Alicia, he DOES always seem to have a bunch of cash. I know that he babysits everyday after school and works for his step-dad on the weekends. He probably makes more than us! :)

i would be willing to ask someone out for 20 bucks. it would have to be my husband, but if Chase gave me 20 bucks I would do it.
So Sara, do you have a blog?

Unknown said...

No, I don't have a blog but I'm completely hooked to reading others. Even people I don't know. I need to get a life, I know! :)

Sara, I think all children that babysit make more than we do--it's not really that difficult to do! Today Mikayla babysat for a family in our ward from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and made $45. Not bad for a 13 year old! Alisha, I would ask your husband out for you if you gave me $20. Of course he would probably be a little freaked out if I said, "Alisha wants to go out with you." Unfortunately Alisha and Alicia sound the same. Perhaps if I wrote him a note??? Then I would have to charge you $25--you know, the cost of paper and everything! :-)

I read blogs of people that I don't know too. I was thinking that if you did have a blog, Sara, you could pictures of people that you don't know on it. You already have those, all you need is a scanner, and I have one, if you want to get started.
Alicia, I would give you 20 bucks to ask my husband out, but I just gave him my last 20 and he didn't have to ask anyone out!
He was digging through our change jar (looking for quarters i'm sure) and I said, I have some cash. He said, where'd you get that? I should have said, from a fifth grader who dared me to ask you out.

Alisha, maybe you should have given that last $20 to Hunter. The other day, Lexie lent him a dollar. When we got home from Wal-Mart, he found his wallet which had $8 in it. Lexie asked for her dollar back. He told her to go get it out of the coin jar because he didn't want to waste his money that way. It took about 15 minutes to explain it wasn't his dollar to waste. I think I need to hide the coin jar!!

Hey, just wondering....what do you actually want to do to be inducted officially? We probably all should do it, really! :) Also, want to practice Hope of America together some night this week? I'm thinking it would be more fun than by myself! Actually, I KNOW it would be more fun!

Alicia said...

I need to meet the S requirement before I will feel "offiicial". Yes, I would LOVE to practice HOA songs this week. Maybe then I will actually practice!!!!!!!

abby said...

So we are having a Hope of America party eh? I would love to practice with you guys but we can't tell anyone that is what we do for fun because I think the TSB might lose some of its coolness. I want in on some of this $20 action. I think I would just ask some kids in Sara's class out because we already know that they are into rejecting people and then I wouldn't have to worry about Nick getting mad. Maybe we should hit Chase up for some extra field trip money. Sara-- Totally think you should make a stranger blog. You could be like Where's Waldo and photoshop yourself into random stranger photos.

Alicia said...

Field trip money nothing! I say we hit him up to cover our mortgages! When and where should we HOA?

My only free night this week is Tuesday. Would that work? I have the DVD....and chocolate! To help with the 'S' part! :) Well, Wednesday would work too....but I'm in charge of Enrichment at 7pm.

alisha said...

Tuesday would work, I have a primary meeting at 7:30. Wednesday is good too.
I think we might get in trouble if we ask 5th graders out. 20 bucks for 20 years?

Alicia said...

Doug has meetings every night this week. Could I bring my kids to our party? Tuesday night would be best for us--Wednesdays are our "hang out at the church at 3 different times for 3 different children" nights. (In other words, YW, Scouts, Activity Days!) Alisha, how about we don't ask 5th graders out, we just start selling them grades? Come on, everyone's doing it. No one will ever find out! (Ever hear that one before?) Or, we could start a suggestion box and they can pay for us to accept their suggestions. I have many more money making schemes if you don't think these will work! :-)

Unknown said...

Nice ideas, Alicia! I like them! Especially the suggestion box! We can party in my classroom tomorrow after school if you want---your kids are always welcome in there! I'll put them to work cleaning or something---except for Jordan. He may want to practice with us.....or not. :)
