The face that "at least" his mother can love! :-)
Apparently grounding Jordan for life didn't do the trick. Doug and Nick got tickets to the BYU/Utah baseball game on Friday night. Doug asked if my teacher friends wanted to go with us. I went into Miss Burbach's classroom to ask her and of course, Jordan was sitting right there. I told her she could ask a friend or a date to come along. Jordan elbowed her and did the "eyebrow raise" thing. I told her Jordan did NOT count as a friend or a date!
Well, give the kid an A for effort. Today, he was walking behind her in the hall and he said, "Miss Burbach, I like you."
"I like you too, Jordan."
"No, I mean I REALLY like you."
"I really like you, too."
"No, Miss Burbach, I mean I "like" like you. I like you enough to go to a baseball game with you."
Could someone please tell me how to reign this kid in? Has anyone else had experience with their 11 year old hitting on their teacher?!? UGH! That kid. . . :-)

Your boy CRACKS me up, Alicia!! I love it! I forgot to mention to you that he's been caught "playing" with many of the girls hair in our class as well. He denies it but usually with a grin on his face. Hmm?! You may want to ask him about that as well! :)
Oh, Sara, what am I going to do with that kid? If he would quit doing that whole grin thing it would be much easier to be grumpy with him!
Ahhh, the story comes out! I just asked him if he has been "playing" with the girls hair. Apparently he's not (I was going to say weird, but we know he is) hair-obsessed (that's the best I could do.)! He told me he was "pulling" their hair so they couldn't run home. So much better to have a son who is a CHEATER! ;-)
Oh my!! He seems way to shy to be so into girls. And now WOMEN??? Slow down little Jordy!!
Tanya, the "old" Jordan used to be shy. Unfortunately he gets WAY TOO comfortable in his classroom and loses all sense of shyness. What is a mother to do?!
I have to lay off the Fiber One bars
Too bad they're so yummy!
