Hunter has struggled with reading this year, but has recently started making GREAT progress. A few weeks ago, he brought home a paper he had written that listed the 5 steps he took to get ready in the mornings. I loved it!!!! It went something like this:1. Get jwest
2. Et mi brecfst
3. Mac mi bed
4. Brus mi har
5. Brus mi tef
I think phonetic spelling is so cute--especially since he is finally making progress and enjoying school again. In case you are not a phonetic reader, the list says:
1. Get dressed (those r's can be tricky!)
2. Eat my breakfast
3. Make my bed
4. Brush my hair
5. Brush my teeth

Of COURSE I knew what he had written! Foster is also very phonetic. I love this stage!

That was so funny! I also was able to decipher the messages. Or should I say "deesifur"? Way to go Hunter!
PS - speaking of phonetics, my name is not spelled Tayna so any time you want to fix that on your blog, feel free!! :) After 12 years of knowing you is it too much to ask? Sob, sob!!
WOW! Apparently I need a stronger prescription on my glasses. Thanks for still talking to me after such a HORRENDOUS mistake. :-)
