I am SOOOOOO sorry!!

This is to apologize to any of you who have been driven crazy by my childrens' countdown to the "big day". The kids have been cracking me up, though. Mikayla has been counting down for the last 42 hours. Hunter came into my classroom at 11:30 this morning and said he was just going to hang out until it was time to go (I took all of my kids with me). Since we weren't leaving until 1:00, I sent him back to class. At 12:45 Lexie announced to the office staff that she was just going to sit on their couch until I came to check her out. Jordan was ticked off that he was going to be the last one picked up--even though I was at the same school with Lexie and Hunter and Mikayla's school is about halfway between my school and his.

Anyway. . . we got everyone checked out and made it to the doctor's office with 3 minutes to spare. The ultrasound tech was so cute to put up with all of us! The baby was VERY proud to show us that HE IS A BOY.

So, Doug and Jordan were ECSTATIC and the rest of us are getting on board with it, too. We went to Wal-Mart and picked out an outfit together that he (Joshua???? maybe????) will wear home from the hospital. On the drive home, Mikayla hung the outfit on the visor in front of her and every 3-4 seconds would say, "Isn't this SOOOO cute?" I think it's safe to say we are all excited to have a new little man join our family.

AND, my due date was moved up AGAIN!! HOW AWESOME IS THAT?!? I went in at 20 weeks and left there at 21 weeks. Life is good! Maybe if I have a few more ultrasounds I won't have to go through the summer pregnant!!?! My new due date is August 31. What a beautiful day! :)
