Southern Plantations

What is a trip to the South without visiting a couple of plantations? We were able to visit 2. The first one was The Belle Meade. It was a working plantation in the 1800's and eventually became famous for breeding and raising race horses. The second one was The Hermitage. It was Andrew Jackson's home.

This is my "Scarlet O'Hara" pose.

Doug in front of the "stable". I daresay those horses lived better than my children do! :-)
